Gestalt-Coaching
The Gestalt approach assumes that every human has within him-/ herself everything he or she needs for his or her well-being and can invite it through active contact with the world.
In the course of life, excessive demands, psychological injuries and crises can lead to an impairment or blocking of one's own capability to make contact.
By practicing a heightened awareness on the here and now, as well as through creative experiments of expression and contact, together we will find ways to close these open Gestalts in your life.
Open Gestalts are unmet needs, unresolved inner worries and desires, or open (inner or outer) conflicts that are often no longer consciously sensed, but which can shape and inhibit your experience and behavior subtly.
The Gestalt approach comes from a humanistic and existential tradition - self-determination, authenticity and the dignity of each individual are guiding values.
In the Gestalt approach I always look at you as a whole person (body-feelings-mind) in your current life context (your "whole field"). Together we appreciate your path so far and your creative power.
As a Gestalt facilitator I am not subject to a rigid set of methods and techniques - rather I practice an attitude of appreciation, empathy, openness, presence and aliveness towards you and the world.
Change and healing happen when everything that is, is allowed to be and accepted - without judgement or guilt/ shame.
As a Gestalt facilitator I support you in this process by

giving you presence, curiosity and touchability as an empathic counterpart,

reflecting to you what is potentially happening right now (and on which level),

confronting you kindly but consistently when contact is broken off,
-
curiously exploring together the rules according to which you play the "game of life" and

providing the shared dynamic relationship field as a safe space to experiment with new experiences.
